Have the dog stand on the level surface, ensuring it is standing straight and looking forward, with its feet properly aligned.
02. How to Measure Height of a German Shepherd
To measure the height of a German Shepherd locate the highest point of the shoulders, also known as the withers, as shown below. Use the tape measure to extend from this point down to the ground, making sure the tape measure is perpendicular to the ground for an accurate measurement.

03. How to Measure Length of a German Shepherd
