Dogs are born with a selfless nature. They are so loyal to the core that they can do anything to protect their owners. Their unconditional loyalty and love make us feel cherished, valued, and unique. This is what the blog’s title suggests, Selfless Beings.
Selfless Beings is a blog dedicated to dogs that primarily shares wealth of informative content about German Shepherds – the most popular, attractive, and loyal selfless beings.
Founder – Meer Basit
I am a passionate German Shepherd lover and a computer scientist by background. Apart from Selfless Beings I own a blog Meer’s World, and an online shopping store Fire Ram 23Point4.
I am always eager to expand my knowledge, I’ve dived headfirst into studying not only German Shepherds but also other distinguished breeds like Bulldogs, Boxers, Cane Corsos, Shepherd Dogs, and Rottweilers. I’m fascinated by the genetics of these animals, constantly seeking to understand how hereditary traits influence their physical attributes and behaviors. The investigation into GSD coat colors and their genetic roots is an aspect I find especially enthralling. My happiest moments are invariably linked to learning something new about dogs – be it perusing their pedigrees, exploring aspects of canine health, or delving into the intricacies of their bloodlines. My spare time is predominantly occupied with educating myself further about German Shepherds and other breeds, striving to absorb as much knowledge as possible.
How I Started Selfless Beings
My first blog, Meer’s World, is designed to guide aspiring bloggers on how to launch their own professional blogs and monetize them effectively. In early days of my blogging journey, I created few articles on German Shepherds such as GSD Types, GSD Puppy Purity Check, GSD DNA Test, etc, which performed exceptionally well in SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages), but unfortunately they were not relevant to my blog’s niche. That’s why I decided to launch another blog, Selfless Beings, dedicated exclusively to German Shepherds and dogs, providing a focused platform for enthusiasts and owners of this breed. Moving forward, while Selfless Beings remains a niche site for German Shepherds, we are open to the possibility of expanding our content to include other dog breeds, adapting to the interests and needs of our readers.
How My Love Began for German Shepherds
In my childhood, I was deeply fond of petting stray dogs and puppies, which would fill my days with joy and compassion towards animals. This affection towards canines grew when we adopted a medium-sized sable Alsatian dog of unknown breed named Jam, who quickly became a beloved member of our family.
In our far neighborhood there was a home to a retired police soldier, recognized for his expertise in petting and dog training, often seen parading his well-trained German Shepherds down our street. My curiosity and admiration for these dogs were so immense that I would frequently ascend our home’s boundary wall just to catch a glimpse of them in action. Among these canine marvels was a striking American Showline Black and Cream German Shepherd, notable for its imposing stature, big head, and medium-length fur, captivating onlookers with its beauty and grace. This particular dog had such an allure that it would leave everyone, including myself, utterly mesmerized.
An unforgettable instance was when the same dog trainer brought another beautiful and graceful German Shepherd to the street. This one exhibited the classic features of a long-coat, old-fashioned German Shepherd. Just for a fun, we decided to allow our dog, Jam, to engage with this giant majestic dog. The size disparity was immediately evident – our beloved Jam seemed no more than a puppy beside it, barely reaching the newcomer’s elbows. This was the moment that my fascination turned into a lifelong affinity for German Shepherds.
It’s important to clarify that I am not a professional German Shepherd breeder. Instead, it’s a pure expression of my passion and boundless love for this magnificent breed.
